Grew up in Germany with his first computer being a i486 with 40 Mhz. As with many things he kept trying to pull it apart to learn how it works. His father had originally built the computer, but only visited every other weekend, so it forced him to learn to fix it himself.

Since then he has gotten the opportunity to fix a lot of things. From being a game master leading customer support teams for RF Online and Archlord, to being in the Network Operations Center for Dungeons and Dragons and Lord of the Rings online, to some of the first online video delivery networks that were to stream cable TV to tablets, before joining Riot games and helping to scale the infrastructure of what was to become the largest online game in the world, and saw eSports break into the mainstream.

During the day he helps build autonomous robots and teach them how to drive. At night he dreams about the tech of the future that will make life more awesome.
